Royce Standard was a sophomore when he formed the first Pleasure Ridge Park High School boys' volleyball team. Two years later, during his senior year, the program he created became a sanctioned KHSAA sport.

Kammerer Middle School - Boys Volleyball
This past school year marked the first season of the JCPS Middle School Boys Volleyball League. Eight schools had a team, and Kammerer Middle School was one of them. The players say they underestimated how challenging the sport would be, but they found a new passion.
