The JCPS adaptive sports program, the Louisville Lightning, has exploded in popularity since its first season in March 2023. Recently, with the help of the JCPS Resource Development Department, the program received a six-figure award that'll help ensure the program can continue to help kids.

When Ivonne Davila-Beegle first introduced Rocket League the Academy @ Shawnee's esports team, it started out as a club. It would soon turn into a formal team, with some growing pains. Now, the Golden Eagles are one of the best Rocket League teams in JCPS.
