Centurion Families:
We had a great first day back after winter break. A few things to bring to your attention:
HSU: Our school’s new Hispanic Student Union (HSU) will be hosting its first community service project—a food drive to support Kentucky Refugee Ministries—from Monday, January 12 through Friday, January 16. Food Drive Details: Donations: Canned goods and other non-perishable items. Students should turn in items to their advisory teachers. Each item donated is worth 3 PBIS points. Students who donate 5 items or more will receive a dress down day pass. We encourage all students to participate and help make this first HSU event a success! This is a great way to support our community while fostering service, leadership, and teamwork. Thank you for your support!

AM DROP OFF: We understand the line for AM drop off is very long. This can improve with everyones help. Please have your students ready to exit the car when you stop in front of the school and on Edward Street from the corner to the parking lot entrance. Your students will have to walk. The more students exit cars the quicker the line will move. Please see the attached map. Please have your students exit the cars in the highlighted pink area on the map. Students should utilize entry #15 on the parking lot side of the building (Edwards St) and the front door. Again, your student will have to get out of the car and walk. Please do not wait until you get in front of the front steps to have your child exit the car. This small thing will improve the length and time of the line, but everyone has a role to play. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Doors to the school will open at 7:00 a.m.
