Hawthorne Elementary will celebrate Pajama & Movie Day on Tuesday, November 25, as part of our Give for Good prize. Students may wear school-appropriate pajamas along with proper footwear (no slippers, please). It’s sure to be a cozy, fun day for our Hawks!

All JCPS schools and buildings will open and operate as normal on Thursday, Nov. 6, 2025. Our crews tested the water and air quality at all of our schools and buildings today and everything came back normal. Louisville Metro Government officials have also informed us that it is safe to reopen schools. Our thoughts remain with all those affected by Tuesday’s tragic plane crash.
