The LAP explains the language support services, resources, and communication assistance available throughout the district. It also describes how JCPS provides interpretation and translation services, approved language-access technology, employee training, and multilingual communication practices across schools and programs.
If employees prefer to communicate in a language other than English, they can contact their immediate supervisor for work-related communication within their department or the appropriate district department when seeking assistance from another district office, such as Human Resources.
Schools, programs, and departments may request language support services through the Language Services Office to facilitate communication with students, families, and employees who prefer to communicate in a language other than English.

We had a great start to the week! Thank you to everyone for helping make morning arrival run smoothly. We have one final morning car rider reminder:
Beginning Tuesday, the morning car rider line will close at 8:35 a.m.
If you arrive between 8:35 and 8:39 a.m., your child is NOT late, but you will need to drop them off at the front of the building. Staff will direct traffic around the front parking lot, and students may enter through the front entrance.
If you arrive at 8:40 a.m. or later, your child is considered tardy. You will need to park and sign your child in at the front office.
We have many car riders and do our best to get everyone into the building safely and on time. Please help us by getting in the car rider line early and having your student ready to exit the vehicle when it is your turn. Thank you for your continued support and cooperation! 💙💛

Afternoon transportation changes will continue to be limited until Wednesday.
If you arrive before 8:10 a.m., please keep your student in the car until a staff member directs them to exit.
During morning arrival and afternoon dismissal, only authorized vehicles are permitted in front of the building. All car riders MUST use the car rider line on the side of the school.
There are no early dismissals after 2:50 p.m.

This first full week may feel long! Thank you for helping students establish strong routines: getting to bed early, eating a healthy breakfast at home or school, and having their school materials ready.
