ACTION REQUIRED | We need to know how your child will get to and from school for the 2026-27 school year. The JCPS Transportation Verification (TV) form is now open. Every JCPS family must complete this form to let us know how your child will get to and from school.
The final day to request bus transportation for the first day of school is June 8, 2026. Eligible bus riders who fill out the Transportation Verification form by June 8, 2026, will be notified of their bus stop location in July via the JCPS Bus Teller. HEAT UPDATE | Friday JCPS outdoor athletics start time moved to 8 p.m.
Due to the heat advisory on Friday, September 4, JCPS schools must adhere to the following updated schedule requirements:
- Football Games: Must now start at 8 p.m. or later (pushed back from 7 p.m.)
- Outdoor Practices and Other Competitions: Must be held in the morning or start at 8 p.m. or later
Reminder: All outdoor practices and competitions remain canceled today, Thursday, September 3.
