Lunch Schedule
Hello Layne Families,

Your student should have brought home a flyer today regarding Grandparent's Luncheon. Grandparent's luncheon will be on September 10th at your child's lunch time. See the lunch times attached below.

Tickets/RSVP's will be done on a presale basis only. Presales will be from 8/18- the morning of 8/24. If you do not RSVP and turn in your money by the morning of the 24th then you will not be able to get a lunch. Tickets will be $5 per lunch; and money needs to be turned in with an RSVP form. Due to size constraints we ask that families keep attendees to 4 family members at most per student.
If you have any questions or concerns feel free to reach out to the school's office.

💡 DID YOU KNOW | JCPS has adopted a Language Access Plan (LAP), available in multiple languages, to help ensure multilingual students, families, and employees can communicate effectively and access district services and information in their preferred language.

View the LAP: https://www.canva.com/design/DAG2bBklRnQ/3r-5oYH2VnEDGflVdbC5PQ/view?utm_content=DAG2bBklRnQ&utm_campaign=designshare&utm_medium=link2&utm_source=uniquelinks&utlId=hfa48bdac12

Available in multiple languages: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1FSP9gKb5lplKaJpYFC3WZrHpgf5puE6U/view?ts=6a724033

The LAP explains the language support services, resources, and communication assistance available throughout the district. It also describes how JCPS provides interpretation and translation services, approved language-access technology, employee training, and multilingual communication practices across schools and programs.

If employees prefer to communicate in a language other than English, they can contact their immediate supervisor for work-related communication within their department or the appropriate district department when seeking assistance from another district office, such as Human Resources.

Schools, programs, and departments may request language support services through the Language Services Office to facilitate communication with students, families, and employees who prefer to communicate in a language other than English.

To learn more about the LAP, information about language support services, and district language access resources, visit the JCPS Language Services webpage: https://jeffersoncpsky.sites.thrillshare.com/o/jcps/page/language-services

Mark your calendars! 📅 Our meet and greet is coming next week on 8/4, and we've got something special planned for everyone!

If your last name starts with A-L, swing by from 2:00-4:00 PM ⏰ and if it's M-Z, we'll see you from 4:30-6:30 PM. We're talking free haircuts ✂️, free nail painting 💅, and school supply giveaways 🎒 to help your student start the year ready to go!

Here's a quick heads up: if your student already has a backpack, please bring it, so we can tag it for transportation. No backpack yet? No worries—we've got you covered and will send one home with you!

And if you're in the mood for something sweet for a reasonable price, the Kona Ice truck 🍧 will be there for anyone who wants to grab a treat. You can look forward to prizes, vendors and more! We can't wait to see you there!
