Crosby Middle School Back-to-School Campus Clean-Up

As we gear up for an exciting new school year, it’s time to come together and get our campus looking its absolute best! We are hosting our Back-to-School Campus Clean-Up, and we would love for our amazing community of students and families to join us. Whether you can lend a hand for a few hours or donate some much-needed landscaping supplies, your support makes a massive difference for our school.

🛠️ How You Can Help
1. Volunteer Your Time
If you are coming out to help us clear, trim, and beautify the grounds, please bring along any of the following gear if you have it available: Work gloves, Shovels and rakes, Power washers, and lawn trimmers
2. Send in Donations
Can’t make it to the clean-up but still want to support the cause? We are welcoming donations of the following items to help spruce up our outdoor spaces: Black mulch bags, Annual and perennial flowers, Paint brushes and rollers

CROSBY BASEBALL WORKOUTS THIS WEEK:  

TUESDAY, JULY 21 5:30- 8PM.  Eastern High School: All Grades

Please arrive by 5:30 for stretching/throwing.  We will take the field at 6PM. 

Baserunning/Positional Play/Offensive Stations

Protective Equipment MANDATORY

WEDNESDAY JULY 22nd- 9AM-11AM Eastern High School: All Grades

Base running/Conditioning/Bunting/Rundowns

FOOTBALL PLAYERS will NOT participate in conditioning drills, only bunting/rundowns

Shorts are preferred

Protective Equipment OPTIONAL

THURSDAY July 23  5:30-8PM  Eastern High School: All Grades

Station to Station Defense/Offense/ Controlled Game Scrimmage

Protective Equipment MANDATORY

ALL WORKOUTS ARE VOLUNTARY, No explanation is needed if you are out of town, etc.  They are simply a way to get in some extra work before official tryouts.

📣 ATTN: Incoming 6th-Grade Families!

We want to share a few important updates regarding our upcoming orientation events. We know transitioning to middle school is a big milestone, and we want to make sure you and your student feel completely prepared!

🧭 Camp Crosby vs. General Orientation: What’s the Difference?
We’ve received a few questions about our upcoming dates. Here is a quick breakdown of the two different events we are hosting:

Camp Crosby 6th Grade Orientation (Next Week — Wednesday or Thursday, depending on last name)

Who: Students only.

What: A full-day experience dedicated to helping students get to know their peers. It features team-building activities, an introduction to middle school expectations, academic overviews, and transition tips.

General Orientation (Late July)

Who: Students and parents.

What: A brief, casual open-house. This is your time to come in together to grab your student's official schedule, take a quick walk to find their classrooms, sign up for sports and clubs, visit the bookstore, and stock up on spirit wear.

📅 Alternate Dates & Key Details
Can't make Camp Crosby next week? No worries at all! If your student has to miss it, we highly recommend attending the General Orientation instead.

General Orientation Dates & Times:

Wednesday, July 29th: 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM

Thursday, July 30th: 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM

Attendance: While neither Camp Crosby nor the General Orientation are strictly mandatory, we strongly encourage your family to stop by for one of the General Orientation windows on July 29th or 30th.

📝 Missed all the dates? Don't panic! If you are unable to attend any of these sessions, all student schedules will be officially posted to the Parent Portal by August 1st.
