Dear Parents and Guardians,

We believe the communication between school and home is essential to improving Thomas Jefferson Middle School students towards an effective instructional environment. As we appreciate your endless efforts in supporting your child’s education within the home, we want to hear your concerns and insight regarding your child’s education during this school year.

On September 24, 2025, Thomas Jefferson Middle School will host our Fall Family Teacher Conference from 9:00 am to 11:00 AM and 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM. Teachers will reach out to you to schedule appointments. The link to sign up will open on Wednesday, September 10, 2025 and will close on Monday, September 22, 2025.

Please note that each teacher will provide a sign-up slot for 15-minute increments. Once appointments are full, you may send an email requesting a call back for the teacher(s) to make other communication arrangements regarding your child's academic progression. Due to scheduling, a few teachers will be unavailable.

Please feel free to reach out to your student’s teacher if you have questions. Be sure to include your name, the best contact information, and the student's name(s). All counselors will be available to answer any questions and/or address any concerns that you may have.

TJ Sports Updates:

Baseball will be back this year! Instead of traditionally playing in the spring, middle school baseball and softball are now fall sports. Our tryout date has moved from August 8 to August 12. There will be a $10 fee for tryouts. Schedule for games will be announced later in the month, but we will be playing by September, so stay tuned for updates! Looking forward to a fun fall and get this thing off the ground. If you have any questions let me know!
