Lassiter Families, January 25, 2026 Due to the snow, ice, and hazardous road conditions throughout the county, we have made the decision to use traditional snow days for students and staff on Monday, Jan. 26 and Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2026. There is NO NTI ON MONDAY AND TUESDAY. All after school athletic and extracurricular activities are canceled. If there are any changes to YMCA CEP, families will be notified by CEP. We will re-evaluate the conditions on Tuesday and provide an update on Wednesday's schedule as early as possible so our families and staff have time to prepare. Thank you and stay safe,

Due to forecasted frigid temperatures in the early morning hours on Monday, December 15, 2025, JCPS has made the decision to use a Non-Traditional Instruction (NTI) day for students and staff.

This decision was made with the safety and well-being of our students in mind, as they would be waiting at bus stops and walking to school in extremely cold conditions. The National Weather Service tells us temperatures could drop as low as 1 below with windchill.
