Our Anatomy class had a BIG week looking at small cells! 🔬 They learned how to use the microscope and create slides to see what's hidden. What a cool way to learn! ✨⚡️

See you Tuesday, Sept. 2!

From the classroom to the boardroom! 💼 Our Business & Marketing Essentials students have finalized their business cards, putting their design, branding, and networking skills into practice. These are more than just cards—they're a powerful first step in their professional journey. What a great job! ⚡️

Thank you for your service! We were grateful to have Orlando Gonzalez Sierra with the KY Army National Guard speak to our Charger 101 students about career opportunities, education benefits, and leadership training. 🇺🇸⚡️ This was the start of a new speaker series for our Freshman Academy students, and it was a great day of learning!
A special visitor at our Class Act Federal Credit Union branch! 🏦 Dr. Yearwood stopped by and was served by our awesome student interns. It was a great day to show off our students' skills and celebrate their hard work! ✨

A new tradition has sparked! ✨ We are so excited to introduce The Sparky Award, a special honor created by our Freshman Academy teachers to recognize one another for exceptional work. It’s awarded by the teacher who receives it, creating a chain of recognition.
Our inaugural recipient is Mr. Ferrell, who is being recognized for his innovative and engaging warm-ups this year. Congratulations, Mr. Ferrell, on this well-deserved honor! 🔥 ⚡️

Getting out of the classroom and into nature! 🌳 Our biology students are kicking off the year with a hands-on learning experience, completing a biotic (living) and abiotic (nonliving) scavenger hunt. 🐜 They're exploring the world around them, identifying everything from trees and insects to rocks and water. Science is everywhere! 🔬⚡️

Our Business & Marketing Essentials students are on a mission to network! 💼 They got hands-on with a real-world project: designing their very own business cards. From choosing fonts to perfecting their personal brand, they're building the skills they'll need for their future careers. Thank you to our phenomenal community partners for answering the call for real-world examples! Great job, JTown! 🚀⚡️
