Due to these lingering conditions and low temperatures, we believe transitioning to NTI is the safest choice for our students and staff.

While our crews report that most main roads are in good shape, many side streets and neighborhood roads across the county remain hazardous. Due to these lingering conditions and low temperatures, we believe transitioning to NTI is the safest choice for our students and staff.
Students should follow their school’s established NTI protocols. NTI days are recognized as standard instructional days and will not extend the school calendar.
All after school athletic and extracurricular activities are canceled for Wednesday and Thursday. If there are any changes to the YMCA CEP program, families will be notified by YMCA CEP.
Thank you for your continued patience and flexibility as we navigate these winter conditions. Please stay warm and safe.

From the district:

While our district continues to navigate complex discussions regarding budgets and priorities, please know that our mission here at Crosby remains unchanged. I want to reassure you that it is "business as usual" here at Crosby.
Our teachers are in classrooms delivering high-quality instruction, our students are building those critical daily habits, and we are moving full steam ahead with an incredible second semester.
I am proud to be part of our entire school community that advocates fiercely for its students. I will continue to push for the resources and facilities our students deserve because Crosby is #ThePlaceToBe!

Come out and support Crosby Basketball.

While we provide ample grace and reminders for developing habits, we are also committed to maintaining the high standards that make Crosby #ThePlaceToBe. This consistency allows all students to feel secure and ensures that our classrooms remain spaces where everyone can reach their next level.
How You Can Help at Home:
-Discuss Routines: Ask your student about their "daily habits" for success at school.
-Reinforce R.O.A.R: Remind them how their individual behavior contributes to the positive culture of our building.
-Stay Connected: Check PBIS Rewards with your student to celebrate the positive growth they are showing.
We are so grateful for the energy and passion our students have brought back this semester. Thank you for your continued partnership as we strive to help every Crosby student reach their full potential!

All students get FREE admission to tonight's basketball games @ Eastern High School!
Boys' game @ 6 PM, Girls' game to follow @ 7:15 PM!

As we open our doors for the second semester, our focus is on helping every student transition back into the flow and routines that lead to success. The start of a new year is a powerful opportunity to "reset" not just in the classroom, but in our shared commitment to excellence. We are doubling down on our ROAR expectations and our PBIS Rewards system.
For your student, this means they will return to an environment where positive behavior is celebrated daily and where expectations are clear and consistent. We know that when students know exactly what is expected of them, they feel safer, more focused, and ready to learn.
We are excited to partner with you to keep Crosby #InTheGreen. Thank you for the trust you place in us every day and for the incredible support you provide your students at home. Let’s make this semester the best one yet @ #ThePlaceToBe!

Crosby Families,
As we wrap up the first semester and look toward the winter break, we want to share some exciting developments regarding Artificial Intelligence (AI) and how we are using it to enhance the learning experience for all Crosby students.
In the classroom, our teachers are learning to use AI tools that help them manage their workload more efficiently. These tools don't replace the teacher; rather, they give back the valuable resource of time by assisting with lesson preparation and organizing materials. This means our teachers can spend more focused, quality time directly interacting with and supporting your student.
The goal of AI in our classrooms is to elevate our teaching. By using these tools, we can ensure our instruction is high-quality, which sparks new ideas and constantly improves the incredible work our staff does every day.
I encourage you to have conversations at home about how technology, including AI, can be a supportive tool for learning and organization. As we finish the semester strong, thank you for your continued partnership in ensuring your students' success here at Crosby! #ThePlaceToBe!
