Good Afternoon Cochran Families,
This year, we are revisiting our Non-Traditional Instruction (NTI) plan for our school. NTI will be a blend of asynchronous instruction (Google Classroom assignment) and synchronous availability to teachers. As we prepare for possible Non-Traditional Instruction, we must be sure that all of our students have the technology to access to Google Classroom.
Please complete this form so that we can best support your technological needs. This form needs to be completed for each student. If the school does not receive completion from a student, it will be assumed the student has access to technology to complete NTI assignments in Google Classroom.
Please check your students folder as we sent an NTI letter, Chromebook Expectations, and the JCPS acceptable Use Policy home today. Please return the NTI Chromebook Expectations back by this Friday 11/21/25.
Students who indicate a need for a JCPS Chromebook during NTI days must have a signed NTI Chromebook agreement.
We appreciate your support as we prepare our NTI plan in case we have inclement weather this winter.
Sincerely,
Ms. Cheatham
Principal

All JCPS schools and buildings will open and operate as normal on Thursday, Nov. 6, 2025. Our crews tested the water and air quality at all of our schools and buildings today and everything came back normal. Louisville Metro Government officials have also informed us that it is safe to reopen schools. Our thoughts remain with all those affected by Tuesday’s tragic plane crash.
We appreciate your understanding as our schools and buildings are closed today while the city has implemented a necessary shelter-in-place due to last night’s tragic plane crash.
Today, our teams are checking the air and water quality at all of our schools and buildings. We are doing these checks out of an abundance of caution, as the safety of our students and staff is our top priority.

As a reminder, we provide important updates via text, email, JCPS social media platforms, the JCPS app, our website, and local media.
Thank you for your continued support of our students and staff.
