Fellowship of Christian Athletes

The Fellowship of Christian Athletes began at Central in 1997. There are weekly meetings in the senior cafeteria the last day of every school week from 7:15 a.m. until 7:30 a.m. Since it first started, the participants have never missed a week.
During these meetings, students talk about the Bible. The participants are encouraged to be role models among the student body with correct behavior. Often times, guest speakers, like famous athletes, come and talk to the members. For the past three years, our school's very own Gospel Choir sang at the meetings as well. It is considered an auxiliary by supporting local church movement. The activity is student lead and student driven. At the end of each meeting, everyone joins hands creating a "Spirit Circle" and prays. Furthermore, you do not have to be an athlete to be a part of this.
