School Support Staff Training

 

The four CES Training Specialists provide professional development on current JCPS administrative tools that track student data, maintain financial information and master basic office applications. Their instruction includes classroom-based and online professional development (ePD); online tutorials; and one-on-one assistance.  Training Specialists support the following district wide administrative and instructional programs:

Infinite Campus is the student information system adopted by the Commonwealth of Kentucky to track student data.  Data tracked includes student grades, attendance, schedules, health records, transportation, etc.  The system also provides a portal so that parents and students can log onto a secure site to view the same information.  For more information contact Ruth Ann Reteneller or Amy Mueller.

MUNIS is the financial software package used in all 174 Kentucky School Districts.  It addresses budgeting, purchasing, account inquiries, and other financial services and procedures. The training specialists provide training and support to all schools and departments of the district. For more information contact Mary Holloway.

CLICK! (Creating Literacy in Computer Knowledge) is a training program to promote employee computer literacy.  This Microsoft Office training and support is available to all district employees to master their technology skills. For more information contact Sheila Stanton.
