Staff Descriptions
Educational Technology Teacher (ETT)
The Educational Technology Teacher (ETT) is a certified teacher who holds a master's degree and has five years of successful teaching experience. The ETT plans, develops, and delivers professional development for teachers to successfully integrate technology into their instruction. These programs include:
- Technology Integration Program (TIP)
- Student Technology Leadership Program (STLP)
- JCPS online
- Lesson Study
- Technoversity
- School Technology Coordinator Support
In addition to the above, the 17 ETTs are available upon request to provide school based technology training for teachers.
Support Staff
A 3 member CES support staff
- answers telephones
- greets visitors
- orders and receives merchandise
- maintains multiple databases
- schedules labs and equipment for training
- manages payroll
- provides logistical support for the numerous trainings provided by the CES staff
Technical Staff
A 7 member technical staff collaborates with other CES staff to support all CES projects. Their job descriptions are linked below:
Training Specialist
Four Training specialists provide professional development and technical support for Jefferson County Public School (JCPS) district administrators and classified personnel. Training specialists design and deliver training on
- MUNIS, the District's financial system
- Infinite Campus, student management system
- Applications designed by Management Information Services (MIS), such as WebView and WebView Reports
- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access) through CLICK! training program
