School Profile

Conway Middle students study within one of the school's three academies: (1) The Technology Academy; (2) The Fine Arts Academy; and (3) The College and Career Academy. Students choose an academy based upon their special interests, skills, and learning styles. The Technology Academy places special emphasis on technology for effective communication. The Fine Arts Academy focuses on developing students' creativity and thinking skills. The College and Career Academy emphasizes service learning, college preparation, and school-to-career. Conway is a School-Based Decision Making school offering Extended School Services and the STARS Club Education Program. Before- and after-school child-care services also are available. Conway was awarded the N.I.C.E. school distinction as a Neighborly, Inviting Center of Education.
