Our goal is for all graduates of Western Math Science Technology Magnet High School to live, work, and produce as world class citizens in a global society. The teachers and administrators of Western Math Science Technology High School share one common goal - the development of the total person. We believe our most precious resources are the students of Western who are our future. The faculty and administration of Western provides daily opportunities which stimulate emotional and intellectual growth in a nurturing environment. Each and every student will learn at high levels without any exceptions!
Western strives to meet our goals by providing highly skilled staff members and well balanced educational programs designed to meet the needs of students on various developmental levels. Our excellent counseling services use group and individual techniques to meet the diversified needs of our students. We maintain a clean and well equipped facility conducive to a positive learning climate. As extra curricular activities help strengthen the bond a student has with his or her school, Western sponsors a wide variety of clubs, organizations, and athletic programs. Western administrators and faculty are dedicated to welcoming and educating each student by meeting his or her academic and social needs at each student's present level of development. Our primary focus is to provide challenging, engaging instruction in a safe learning community.
Western has an active Parent-Teacher-Student Association (PTSA). Western offers extra community services through our Family Resource Center to provide any added support needed for each of our students to find success. Through numerous committees we continually work to identify needs within our learning community. We strive to meet those needs on our unwavering mission to stimulate learning and student excellence.
