The team practices their debating skills twice every month, and attend workshops at the University of Louisville to learn special techniques to use while competing in tournaments. However, the girls haven't competed in many tournaments this year; they confess that because they are such a small team it’s difficult to go very far, but they intend to improve every meet.

Every year the debate team grows a little more. They enjoy what they do and learn, and encourage anyone to become a part of the experience. So next time you find yourself in an argument, think of the help you could bring to the debate team.
