 Team Information:
It's Friday night and your friends are throwing the biggest party of the year. You are stuck with long hours of endless practice on top of an excruciating pain that won’t allow you to do anything full-out. Sound familiar?
Practicing day in and day out for two minutes of extreme adrenaline, these Dancin' Eagles work hard for their name, respect, and success. First competing at the Universal Dance Association summer camp, they were placed first for both JV and Varsity. From this they received a bid to Nationals in Orlando, Florida. At Nationals, the Varsity placed 4th in jazz and 5th in pom. The Junior Varsity team placed 6th in pom.
The dance team's hard work paid off when Varsity won Grand Champions at the KDCO State Championship, placing 1st in Jazz, 1st in Pom and 3rd in Hip Hop. The Junior Varsity placed 1st in Jazz and 3rd in Pom at state. Tryouts for the 2012-2013 team will be held April 2nd to April 5th. There will also be a Fall Semester tryout as well (dates TBA).
