It doesn’t get much better than boys in shoulder pads beating each other up with sticks.  After several seasons as a club sport, Eastern Lacrosse will be in its fourth season as a full varsity sport.  The team practices and plays on campus, and the players will receive varsity letters.  Eastern Lacrosse is one of only three Jefferson County Public Schools that has such a team.  Mr. Thompson, a Chemistry teacher at Eastern, is currently coaching the team.  Mr. Thompson took the Eagles to a Division II State Championship in 2008!  As a result, the team has been bumped up as a Division I Lacrosse team.  They look forward to a successful season this year in Division I.  Come out and support your Eagles Lacrosse!!!!
