Joan Ray, Counselor
As a high school counselor, Joan Ray has served grades nine through twelve since arriving at Central High in 1991. Whether working with students individually or in groups, Ms. Ray enjoys her role in guiding young people from high school to successful transitions. She graduated from Eastern Kentucky University with a Bachelor's degree in Speech Pathology and Audiology, and holds Master's degrees from the University of Louisville in Perceptual Learning Disabilities and Career and Community Counseling.
Mrs. Ray currently serves the entire Junior class, and all Freshmen with last names M to Z.
