School Profile

Crums Lane students love to learn, and it shows! The school consistently meets Annual Yearly Progress, continues to increase tests scores and has high attendance rates. Teachers and staff are looking forward to continue success as Crums Lane becomes a small class size Magnet School in the 2009-2010 school year. The school's Family Resource Center offers many after school programs and provides services to the students and their families in coordination with the community. This Health Promotion School of Excellence focuses on wellness and teaching responsibility. Students have access to an up-to-date library media center that promotes reading through special programs and incentives. Students have use of a fully equipped computer lab and all teachers use technology in the classroom to enhance instruction. This year Crums Lane has started a student-run live daily broadcast. As we look for change in the coming year, the school's strong leadership team is working with teachers, staff, students and the community to plan the addition of several new programs to be added next year. We encourage families to check with the school throughout the year to find out if Crums Lane is the place for your family.
