School Profile

Students get a jump start on their mathematics and science studies at Brandeis Elementary. Teachers use technology and innovative instructional techniques in a nurturing, yet challenging environment to help students excel. Brandeis has two fully equipped Science Labs where students learn biology, chemistry, physics, algebra, and geometry. Classroom computers, a Computer Lab, computer art, and laser-disk technology are parts of the curriculum. The staff also emphasize writing skills in the school’s Publishing Lab, which is stocked with Macintosh computers, laser printers, and bookbinding equipment. Students also can participate in a number of literature-based reading programs.
