Smyrna Elementary School

Highlights:

• Offers traditional education to Cluster 3 students (But Smyrna is not part of the feeder system to traditional middle schools.
• Parents are expected to monitor their children’s schoolwork, support academic and extracurricular activities, and join the Parent Teacher Association (PTA).
• Provides a full-time science teacher and a full-time technology instructor
• Extra help for students is available through such programs as ESS, student tutors, Smyrna/Moore Traditional’s Mentoring Program (with middle school students), and the RAMP-UP Reading Program (with Moore Traditional’s high school students).
• Smyrna’s Family Resource Center (FRC) offers activities and programs for both students and parents, including basketball and a dance team.
