Greathouse/Shryock Traditional Elementary
School Profile
Greathouse/Shryock Traditional Elementary provides a disciplined learning environment that emphasizes basic skills, patriotism, courtesy, and traditional moral values. There is also an emphasis on physical fitness and wellness at this Health Promotion School of Excellence. Students with learning disabilities and speech/language impairments are assisted by special resource teachers. The school offers Extended School Services, plus a fully equipped computer lab and computers in each classroom. All students are required to wear uniforms, and parents are expected to be actively involved in the PTA. Teachers have high expectations for all students at Greathouse/Shryock.
