Middle School Counselors

JCPS middle school counselors are an important part of the school community.  Their instructional backgrounds coupled with specific counseling skills enable them to help our middle school students be successful. The middle school years bring unique challenges as the students are moving from childhood to adolescence. Because this is a challenging time of transition for students and parents, school counselors are an excellent resource. Middle school counselors offer a developmental and preventive curriculum as well as provide individual and small group counseling. Middle school counselors are committed to helping students achieve and to assisting students develop appropriate high school plans.  Parents who want information or assistance are encouraged to contact their middle school counselor or click on the links on this page.
