High School Counselors

JCPS high school counselors are an important part of the school community. High school is the final educational transition into adulthood and the world of work. Students are deciding what they do well, and what they will do when they graduate. During these adolescent years, it is important to provide processes to evaluate strengths, skills, and abilities. JCPS high school counselors understand and respond to the challenges presented by today’s diverse population and learning styles. This mission is accomplished through the developmental guidance program that JCPS counselors provide. Parents who want information or assistance are encouraged to contact their elementary school counselor or click on the links on this page.
