I earned my BA at the University of Louisville, majored in Biology and minor in Math. I also earned my masters in Natural Science from University of Louisville.

I have taught Math and Science at several high schools in Jefferson County. I worked at Detrick Vocational Center for 14 years as the coordinator of the learning center. There I helped students with reading and math for their technical courses. My last 7 years before going to eSchool were spent at Iroquois HIgh School. I co-taught the Fast Forward Program there. I have been part time at eSchool for the last eight years, teaching and developing a number of courses.

I try to make my courses interesting, relate them to every day activities and experiences, and fun. I try to put in fun facts and trivia, along with core content material.
