I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of Louisville. I earned my Master of Arts in Teaching degree from Bellarmine University. I am currently working on Principal Certification at the University of Louisville.

I started my career in education as a part-time clerk in the Career Assessment Center in Jefferson County Public Schools. I moved from clerical into classified administration at Jefferson County High School. In my classified administrator role, I coordinated the Bank One Academy and United Parcel Service partnership. After earning my MAT at Bellarmine University, I taught one year at Liberty High School and then moved back to Jefferson County High School to teach and act as our School Technology Coordinator. I currently serve as assistant principal for JCPSeSchool.

My formal education started with the University of Louisville where I earned my Bachelors and Masters in Education.  I went to Western Kentucky University for my Rank I in Counseling.
Early with JCPS, I worked at Re-Ed, a residential facility for JCPS students.  I was in charge of the afternoon program which included social and recreational student interaction.  I went to Parkland Junior High School next, which is the current Johnson Traditional Middle School.  There, I taught 8th grade Reading, English, and Special Education.  The bulk of my work in Jefferson County has been as a counselor at Louisville Male Traditional High School.

"I am excited to have the opportunity to be a part of the Jefferson County High School family.  The online environment of JCPSeSchool is a venue any student might use for graduation and I look forward to helping students and families with this process."
