I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and a Master of Arts in Teaching with emphasis in Business and Math from the University of Louisville.  During the first eight years of my teaching career, I worked as a business teacher at Kentucky Tech—Jefferson State, now known as JCTCS.   After our two sons were born, I applied to Jefferson County Public Schools and began working at Southern High School in 1995 teaching business and math. During the next 15 years at Southern, I taught business technology, served as co-op coordinator, served as the School-to-Career Liaison, and did interventions in math after school.   Professionally, I have earned certifications as a Microsoft Office Specialist in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint as well as in IC3.  In 2010, I joined Jefferson County High School as a Math Resource teacher at Ahrens.  After one very short year, I became part of the eSchool staff.
