I have a Bachelors degree from Bellarmine University in Secondary Education/History and an MA from Spalding University in Secondary Education with a concentration in Social Studies. I have gained technology certifications through JCPS. I taught middle and high school for JCPS for 30 years, the last two were spent with assisting in the development of, and then operating a part of the STOP program. I have worked with JCHS, an alternative high school program for students from 16 years of age and over. After my formal retirement, I was fortunate to be able to return to JCHS and then the eventual JCPSeSchool.

JCPSeSchool courses are available everyday 24/7, and with our open enrollment/open exit policy, a student with some degree of motivation and who can work independently, has an opportunity to complete courses in less time than in a regular classroom environment. My courses can "move" quickly and contain some video enhancements. As we live, we are creating history, and my courses are at least yearly updated to reflect this, whereas a "textbook" social studies course may go over six years before a new edition is adopted.
