I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree and MAT in Math from the University of Louisville. I taught my first eight years in the Math department at Southern High School MCA and I taught my last 16 years at Atherton High School where I taught all courses from Algebra I through IB Calculus. I have been an Adjunct Professor for Bellarmine University, the University of Louisville, and JCTC.

After retiring from full time teaching, I joined the staff atJCPSeSchool and have taught here for one year

Online learning gives students who struggle keeping up in a regular classroom the opportunity to go over a lesson as often as they see fit until they know the material. They are not constrained by the 55 minute class day. One the flip side, if a student is accelerated, it gives them the opportunity to learn at the speed that they would like and don't feel held back.
