Case Management
A career planner is assigned to a participating school and maintains a student caseload of an average of 80 current and former students. The career planner actively engages youth on an individual basis to obviate or diminish barriers to the completion of high school. The career planner conducts follow-up activities with former students to cement their successful transition to college or vocational school, employment, or military service.

Education
At the high school level, remedial education, special reading educational programs, and college preparatory programs are provided to students. Assistance is provided with ACT/SAT applications and testing and preparation of financial assistance packages for college. Opportunities to visit or learn about colleges and vocational schools are provided to all students nearing graduation.
Employment
The Partnership provides assistance with short-term employment during high school, including summer jobs. Vocational training, co-ops, and vocational guidance also are provided at the high school level. Assistance with full-time, career-oriented employment is provided when a student graduates.
Mentoring
Adult mentors work with the partnership in a variety of ways. Some mentors are matched with individual students and provide support for the educational and vocational goals of that student. Some mentors work with groups of students to address issues of literacy, life skills, vocational exploration, and college preparation.
