Recruitment Strategies
The Partnership has developed a broad spectrum of eligibility requirements that reflects its intent to identify students most in need of its services. In addition to providing direct services to students, it will link students and their families to any and all programs that have the potential to ensure each student's academic and vocational success. Curriculum Development
- The Partnership will review and revise its curriculum to reflect current developments in education and trends in local and national job markets
- The curriculum will be standardized for all participants and incorporate career-based learning modules in alignment with each school's magnet program.
- The Partnership will link these programs with area schools, employers, and agencies related to magnet programs.
Mentoring Plan
- Mentoring Programs have a proven track record of success with students.
- The Partnership will develop a strategic plan for its mentoring component.
- The plan will reflect a fresh and comprehensive approach to mentoring opportunities for the community.
Expansion
The Partnership will expand relationships with current partners and actively seek out new partners in the public and private sectors. This activity will be conducted in an effort to better educate Partnership students about the community in which they live now, and how they can positively impact its future.
