The Jefferson County Public Eduction Foundation was incorporated in 1983 as a nonprofit organization under IRS 501(c)(3) and exists to assist and support the public school system of Jefferson County, Kentucky, financially and to engage in any and all activities that advance the education of the citizens of Louisville and Jefferson County through support of the Jefferson County Public Schools.
