Basics for Kids
To benefit the 15th District PTA's Clothing Assistance Program

Basics for Kids is a campaign to purchase new uniform clothing for children in need. For 27+ years, the 15th District PTA's Clothing Assistance Program has been providing new and used clothing to needy children who attend Jefferson County Public Schools. Many of our community's families face each new school year without resources to provide school clothing for their children.

Kids today face many challenges, and economically disadvantaged children have incredible barriers to overcome. In fact, more than 4,000 children in our community don't have appropriate clothes for school. Imagine the price these children pay in self-esteem. Basics for Kids will provide these children with school uniform pants, shirts, underwear, socks, and belts.
