WelcomeThe Jefferson County Public School District recognizes the need to serve students coming from environments where English is not the primary language. Through the English as a Second Language (ESL) Program, ESL teachers and bilingual associate instructors share with regular classroom teachers the responsibility of educating students with limited English proficiency. The English as a Second Language Administrative, Instructional, and Intake offices are located on the lower level of Hazelwood Elementary School.
