Transcripts

A transcript for any Jefferson County Public School can be obtained by picking it up in person between 7:30 a.m. and 4:15 p.m. at 4309 Bishop Lane or through a mail-in request. There is a $5.00 fee per high school transcript, verification of graduation or $8.00 per fee elementary through high school transcript. Most colleges and employers only require a high school transcript. On the written request we need:

  1. Your signature on the letter sent to request the records
  2. The name under which you attended school (the name that would be on the records)
  3. Your date of birth
  4. The name of the school from which you graduated
  5. The year of graduation
  6. The address to which you want the transcript mailed
  7. The type of transcript you are requesting - high school or elementary through high

All of this should be mailed (along with the check/money order made out to Jefferson County Public Schools) to:

If you wish to have someone pick up the transcript for you we will need a signed release from you naming the person authorized to pick it up as well as a legible copy of your driver's license or other legal picture ID. We will also need to check the receiving person's driver's license or legal picture ID to ensure that they are indeed the one you have authorized.
