The Jefferson County Public Schools employs in excess of 13,000 teachers, administrators, and classified staff who serve over 98,000 students. JCPS is committed to providing its personnel with opportunities for professional development that is data-driven, sustained, collegial, results-oriented, and job-embedded. Professional development offerings within the district actively engage educators and support staff in the use of effective practices to improve student and staff performance and reduce barriers to learning. |

The PD&I office designed, implemented, and manages pdCentral, the district’s web-based data management system that supports all aspects of professional development including content, management, evaluation, data collection, and archives. The functionalities within pdCentral allow teachers to search and register for sessions, create new PD proposals, complete online evaluations, and monitor PD credit hours earned. |
