About JCPS Catering
At Your Service Catering began in the early 90’s as “Vittles”, a program designed to meet the growing catering needs of the district. We continue to meet those needs by working hard to serve teachers, students, parents, support and administrative staff. We feel food service is a vital part of the education process. Our purpose is to serve you and we strive to be the best.
At Your Service Catering is part of the School and Community Nutrition Services Department. We are located at the Nutrition Service Center at 360 Farmington Avenue. The Nutrition Services’ central production kitchen and warehouse is also located at the NSC.
The NSC bakery prepares cookies, whole wheat yeast rolls, cinnamon rolls, and muffins that are on our student menus. The cook chill department prepares a variety of entrees, sauces, and fruit fillings including chili, spaghetti, taco meat, poultry gravy, ranch dressing, and cheese sauce. The packaging and assembly area is the area where sandwiches and salads are assembled and packaged to be sent to our schools. Our warehouse stocks over 200 items that are a part of JPCS menus. We have a state of the art facility and invite you to call and set up an appointment to tour the Nutrition Service Center.

How To Order
There are three ways to place your order. Once we have your order an invoice will be generated and faxed to you as confirmation that your order has been placed. If you do not receive an invoice you do not have an order.

A Few Points On Ordering...

Orders must be placed 1 week in advance for groups of 50 or less and 3 weeks in advance for groups over 50.

Upon placing an order an invoice will be typed and faxed to you.

Invoices must be signed by a cost center head, filled in with a budget code to transfer funds from, and faxed back to 502-485-6487 at least 24 hours before your event.

Groups paying with a check must have a check ready for the driver upon delivery.

Any hours incurred beyond regular scheduled staff hours will be incorporated into the cost of the event and will be billed on the invoice as Labor Hours. (Efforts will be made on our part to schedule employees to avoid extra charges, sometimes this is unavoidable)

Orders less than $50.00 will incur a delivery charge based on round trip mileage from the NSC to your location. The mileage will be determined using Map Quest and the charge will be $.60 per mile.

To avoid a delivery charge for orders less than $50.00 your order can be “will-called” and picked up at the NSC any time between 6:30 AM and 3:30 PM, by coming to our front office.

An additional cost of $.50 per box lunch will be applied to groups choosing more than 3 different types of sandwiches. Additional charges also apply for veggie sandwiches, wrap sandwiches or croissants sandwiches and specialty desserts as noted below.

Salads Galore
We continue to offer our famous selection of specialty salads. Throughout the year we will be featuring 2 of our salads each week. Only those featured salads can be ordered. All prices include cutlery kit and a cookie. Call us at 485-3669 for the listing of the featured salads. All salads are accompanied with one of our famous whole wheat yeast rolls.
- Chicken Salad Plate Lunch - Chicken Salad served on a bed of lettuce with a croissant and fresh melons grapes and strawberries. $9.00 each
- Chef Salad - Assorted greens topped with tomatoes, cucumbers, black olives, cubed ham and turkey, shredded cheddar cheese and a hard-boiled egg. Includes croutons, bacon bits and your choice of dressing. $8.50 each
- Fried or Grilled Chicken Breast Salad - Assorted Greens topped with tomatoes, cucumbers, shredded cheddar cheese, hard boiled egg and a chicken breast. Includes croutons, bacon bits and your choice of dressing. $9.00 each
- Mandarin Orange Salad - Assorted Greens topped with a grilled chicken breast, toasted almonds, diced green onions, and mandarin oranges. Served with our own poppy seed dressing.$9.00 each

- Lil’ Smokies - Mini smoked sausages simmered in a golden mustard sauce and brought to your buffet line piping hot. $2.00 pp
Buffet Affairs
We have many menu options for your buffet. We can design a wide variety of menus to meet your needs for your special event. Prices will be discussed upon ordering. Listed below are two of our crowd-pleasing buffets. Both menus include set up, and all paper goods. Our friendly staff will set your buffet up and unless arrangements have been made they will make a return trip to pick up our equipment after the event is over. Prices are set for a minimum of 25 people.
