You may earn inservice credit for any of the Technoversity sessions.  With your principal’s approval, you may earn a school stipend.  You choose the inservice credit or school stipend option when you sign up for the session.

How do I sign up?

Go to pdCentral and search using the keywords of: TabletPC, ePD, JCPS Online, Web Page, Click or a type a portion of the title in the search box. You could also go to advanced search and choose Technoversity Summer Institute in the Institute field.

Can I just show up without registering?

We prefer that you register using pdCentral.  We do allow people to walk in and wait for open chairs. Make sure you sign in the walk-in signin sheet.

I can’t make it until about a half-hour after the session begins, can I still come?  (Can I still get credit)?

Please be prompt. There is 15 minute grace period for unexpected emergencies, but sessions are expected to begin and end on time. Signin sheets will be collected after the 15 minute period, so please make sure you sign when you enter the session. Participants must remain until the end of the session for credit to be issued.

For more information on district PD requirements, please visit the JCPS Professional Development site.

You must attend all sessions for credit to be issued.

Due to liability issues, children are not allowed at professional development sessions.

What if the session I want to attend is full?

We do allow unregistered people to walk in and wait for open chairs.

Who can sign up for the classes?

Sessions are open to JCPS employees.  Some professional development sessions will be limited to a specific, job-related role group.  Many sessions have a prerequisite that need to be fulfilled.
