Computer Education Support (CES) offers CLICK! (Creating Literacy in Computer Knowledge) as a training program to promote employee computer literacy. CLICK! helps district employees master technology skills to:
- Enhance office productivity
- Communicate with parents, students, and staff
- Facilitate student achievement
CLICK! offers participants:
- Constantly updated courses, practice activities, and training materials
- Classroom-based and online professional development (ePD)
- Online tutorials
- One-on-one assistance
- Coaching for work-related projects
- CLICK! Master Certification
Steps toward CLICK! Master Certification:
- Register for the first CLICK! session on the topic in which you are interested in obtaining certification
- Complete the required activities for the course
- Score at least 80 percent on the course quiz
- Complete all courses in that topic or "strand" (word processing, spreadsheet, presentation, or database)
- Score at least 80 percent on the CLICK! Master Performance Assessment*
- Receive a CLICK! Certificate of Mastery
* Testing for CLICK! Master Certification is offered once a month at Jaeger Education Center . A copy of the certificate is filed in the employee's personnel record.
To Register for a CLICK! session advertised on PDCentral:
- Log on to PD Central
- Type CLICK! in the Quick Start box, and click the Go button
- If a session is not scheduled, add your name to the Content Wait List
Note: CLICK! ePD indicates that the course is available through JCPS Online.
