JCPS ePD

All JCPS employees are encouraged to participate in online professional development (ePD). ePD allows participants to receive job-specific instruction at their convenience. Current ePD endorsed by JCPS:

  • JCPS offers a wide variety of ePD offerings for specific employee groups as well as content that would be beneficial for all. For a current list of ePDs being offered, log in to PD Central, and search for ePD.
  • The Educational Professional Standards Board offers focused ePD for specific role groups. For a complete list visit their website at http://www.kyepsb.net.
  • Kentucky Virtual High School offers an extensive list of ePD offering located at http://www.kvhs.org

Things to know before you take any JCPS ePD:

  1. ePD endorsement is a requirement for registering for an ePD.
  2. ePDs must be completed 2 weeks prior to any upcoming Flexible Professional Development Day in order for any hours earned to count toward any contractual requirement.
  3. For more information, contact Ruth Collins: 485-6809 (ruth.collins@jefferson.kyschools.us)
