Workers Compensation

If you are injured in the course and scope of your employment, Workers' Compensation provides for (if applicable) the cost of related medical care, the cost of prescriptions, compensation for lost wages, and other benefits provided by law.

Workers' Compesnation benefits are automatically coordinated with your accumulated sick leave. This will ensure that each employee will receive an amount not to exceed 100 percent of his or her regular daily pay. Employees with no accumulated sick leave balance will only be eligible for up to 66 2/3 percent compensation benefits as allowed by state law.

Employees must complete an Injury Report at their work location as soon as possible and no later than 72 hours after the injury/illness.

Eligibility: All employees.

Cost: Paid 100 percent by the Board.
