Paid leaves of absence include Holidays, Sick Leave, Personal Leave, Emergency Leave, Vacation, and Jury Duty Leave.

All full time employees who work  260 days per year.
Sick Leave - Classified Credited by law with a minimum of ten days at the beginning of each contract year

Accumulates from year to year. Paid at 30 percent of your current daily salary at retirement

All full time, regular classified personnel working four hours or more per day after completing a 90 working day probationary period.
Sick Leave - Certified Credited by law with a minimum of ten days at the beginning of each contract year

Accumulates from year to year. Paid at 30 percent of your current daily salary at retirement

All full-time or half-day (number of days equal to ten half days) regular certified personnel.
Personal Leave Three days annually credited at the beginning of each fiscal year.

Unused personal leave days are converted to sick days at the end of each fiscal year.

All full time regular employees.

Classified staff must complete a 90-day probationary period.

Emergency Leave
Two days annually credited at the beginning of each fiscal year.

Provide paid time off from work due to either death or funeral of a relative by blood or marriage or emergency situations resulting from natural disasters which requires approval from the Executive Director of Human Resources

All full time regular employees.
Jury Duty Any employee who serves on a jury in any duly constituted local, state or federal court shall be granted leave with full compensation less any compensation received as jury pay, for the period of actual jury service. Jury leave shall be in addition to all other leave to which the employee may be entitled. All employees
Vacation Leave Credited monthly;
Accumulated total cannot exceed two times the annual rate.
