Long Term DisabilityLong term disability provides financial protection in case of disability. The policy pays 66 2/3 percent of your basic annual wages after absence from the job for 45 consecutive workdays or the exhaustion of all accumulated sick leave whichever is greater. Payment amounts are coordinated with other benefits. Eligibility: All full-time employees of JCPS are provided Long-term Disability. Coverage becomes effective on the first day of the month following the date you complete one full year of active employment. Cost: Board pays full premium.
