The Board contributes 3.5 percent of your basic annual salary to your Fringe Benefit Pool. The Fringe Pool is used to pay eligible benefit premiums with any remaining balance received as additional income. Basic annual salary excludes overtime and extra earnings. The Fringe Benefit Pool provides tax saving benefits for payment of health-care related premiums with pre-tax dollars. The Fringe Benefit Pool balance after payment of eligible premiums will be paid as cash each pay period and is subject to taxes.

2. Dental Insurance

3. Vision Insurance

4. Supplemental Health Insurance

5. Accidental Death & Dismemberment

6. Cancer Insurance

7. Medical Spending Account

8. Dependent Care Spending Account

Eligibility: Participation is automatic for all full time permanent employees and begins with the first day of employment.

Cost: If the benefits you select cost more than your 3.5 percent fringe contribution, the remaining cost is deducted (before taxes) from your pay each pay period.
