The purpose of the Professional Library is to support instruction by providing information and reference sources and services in the field of education for the Jefferson County Public School community.
In an informal setting, the Curriculum Resource Center (CRC) is a professional work place to think and to plan, to work together on projects, to find individualized assistance and support, to enjoy the company of colleagues. The CRC is open to the educational community in supporting the instruction of learners Pre-K through high school.
Learners from early childhood through adulthood benefit from the time teachers spend exploring and refining educational practices to meet the needs of diverse learners. The CRC provides an interactive work place with a variety of resources and tools that help educators:
- Implement KERA and the Core Content Research best practices
- Reflect, brainstorm and plan with colleagues Explore multiple strategies
- Design instruction for diverse learners Develop meaningful learning experiences
- Create tailor-made instructional materials Share innovations
