Professional Library/CRC Calendar.  Regular hours during the school year are Monday-Thursday 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM, Friday 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, and Saturday 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM.  Check the calendar for special hours.

Professional books, videos, and journals. 
Use the library’s online catalog to search for books, videos, and print journals available for check-out in the Professional Library

Kentucky Virtual Library (KYVL).
Find professional journal articles in KYVL’s EBSCO databse.  JCPS employees may contact the Professional Library for password access outside of JCPS.

ProQuest
Patrons may contact the Professional Library at 485-3382 or proflib@jefferson.kyschools.us for access to professional journals through ProQuest.

Textbooks
The library holds one sample copy of textbooks approved by the Kentucky State Textbook Commission. Textbook samples (except samples under current review by the Commission) may be checked out by JCPS employees.

Student Trade Books
Trade books, reference books, maps, and globes are available for preview and evaluation to give teachers and librarians opportunity to review sources before purchasing. Trade books may be checked out by JCPS employees.

Ellison Die-Cut List
Over 500 die cuts are available for use in the Ellison presses.

Puppets
Over 70 puppets – many with accompanying picture books – are available to be checked out by JCPS employees for use in the classroom.  Search the catalog for “puppet.”

Meeting Space
Please contact the Resource Librarian to reserve space for a group to meet or work in the library.
